Institute of Road Transport Engineers Certificate (IRTEC)
This scheme is focused on the commercial vehicle sector, it tests the practical and theoretical skills of PCV, Heavy Goods and Light Commercial Vehicle Technicians.
The IRTEC licence is awarded at one of three levels depending on the skills and experience of the technician, once awarded the licence must be renewed every 5 years.
